A little verse

I was cleaning out email and found this little thing I wrote one day:

Carpet of long green grass on a tree-topped hill.
Me on my back, feeling the blades bend and twist under the quilt.
Skin kissed by the breeze and dappled with leaf-interrupted sunshine.
Under a crystalline cerulean blanket.

Music in my ears, the sounds of the earth dampened.
Silent birds chirp above. My head is awash with melody.
My mind is calm; my heart is open.
Wiggle my toes and close my eyes and breathe fully and softly.

Just being.
Somewhere between heaven and earth.
And I am happy.
